Do you love music? Are you looking for a fun, creative way to spend time with other adults who enjoy music? Are you black and blue from kicking yourself for quitting music lessons all those years ago? If you answered yes to any of these questions, the Spring Valley Community Band is for you!
The Spring Valley Band at Community Music School is a community band program for adults who have previous instrumental experience. All band instruments are welcome–flute, oboe, clarinet, saxophone, bassoon, trumpet, trombone, French horn, baritone, tuba, and percussion.
We are very excited to share that the Spring Valley Community Band program will be tuition free this year! By making SVCB tuition free, we lower barriers to participation, making the program more accessible to seniors on a fixed income. When you register for SVCB you will see that the dates are for the entire school year, and the program fee of $340 reflects that. The community scholarship will be applied, and the fee will zero out at check out. You will just need to pay the annual $35 registration fee.
