SUMMARY:Piano Festival
DESCRIPTION:The 14th Annual Community Music School Piano Festival will take place on Saturday\, March 5\, 2022 at CMS. This will be another performance opportunity for your child and a goal for the winter season – great for practice motivation! \nEach student will play two memorized pieces of music for our guest adjudicator and will receive a trophy or ribbon (depending on the rating given by the adjudicator) as well as written comments on his or her performance. Important: Students who perform their solo pieces for the festival adjudicator WITH music will not be eligible for the honors recital. \nStudents who receive the highest rating at the adjudication may be asked to perform on a special Festival Honors Virtual Recital on Friday\, March 11\, 2022 at CMS. This is optional – it is not mandatory for those students asked to perform to do so – only if they wish. Please check the box on the Festival Registration form if your child would like to perform on the honors recital if selected.
