Crescendo Chamber Music Camp

Crescendo is an inspirational and rewarding chamber music day camp where students ages 10-college-age learn to perform chamber music, where each person is solely responsible for one part. Through team work unique to chamber music, students learn not only musical expression and technique, but also focused listening, responsibility, leadership, and cooperation—critical skills involved in music making. Students should plan to spend three to four hours of each camp day playing their instrument.

The Assistant-ship program is open to students entering 11th grade through college-age. Students interested in applying for the Assistant-ship program should check off the appropriate box on the Camp Registration Form and attach the required letters and recommendations. Finalists will be contacted to set up an audition and interview.
