How to Register

Students may register for private music lessons at any time.  New students are advised to call or visit CMS prior to registration to schedule an interview lesson or to ensure teacher availability. Once a student is ready to begin weekly lessons or register for a class or ensemble, the student should submit a registration form accompanied by a $35 annual, non-refundable registration fee which is required of all students (there is a maximum fee of $50 per family).  Students who wish to enroll in a class or ensemble should also submit a registration form and fee.

The Interview Lesson

New students are encouraged to sign up for an interview lessons with a CMS teacher.  During the 30-minute interview lesson students and parents will have a chance to meet the instructor, ask questions and get a sense of what will take place in lessons each week. The cost for a 30-minute interview lesson is billed at the prevailing rate. Contact our Registrar, Karen Barrett to set up an interview lesson today: info@cmsmusic.org or 610-489-3676.

 

Tuition

CMS provides instruction for a full 36-week academic year (September through June). For billing purposes, the academic year is divided into four, 9-week quarters. Tuition is prorated for students who begin mid-quarter.  Please refer to our program pages for current tuition rates and class fees. CMS offers financial aid for school-aged students up to age 18 who qualify for assistance.  Please refer to our Scholarships and Financial Aid page for more information.

 

Payments are due by the first lesson of each quarter. CMS accepts major credit cards, cash and personal checks. If a check is returned for insufficent funds, the account will be charged a $30 Returned Check Fee.
