Full & Half Day Sessions - August 2-6, 2010
Suzuki Violin Camp is a 1-week program for Suzuki Violin students ages 6 to 15 years, who are playing in books 1-6. Students may enroll in either a half-day program 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM or a full-day program 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM.

Half-Day Activities: (students assigned to groups based on age, level & personal schedule)
Technique class: develop & improve specific skills to enhance overall playing
Master class: perform or observe in these “public lessons”
Chamber music: small group ensembles
Lunch 11:50 AM-12:30 PM
Solo Time 12:30-1PM Mon-Thurs with a Friday Talent Show
Half-Day Dismissal—1:00 PM
Full-Day Afternoon Activities:
Music Through the Ages Class: Each day students will learn about a different musical period including Baroque, Renaissance, Classical, Romantic and Modern. Students will take a journey through time as they are exposed to operas and musical masterworks.
Enrichment Workshops to include Music Technology & Composition, Rhythm Building with Percussive Instruments, Fiddling Tunes, Music & Movement
FINAL PERFORMANCE
Students will present a Suzuki Play-Down Concert for family and friends on the final day of camp, Friday, August 6, 2010 at 4:15 PM in Ingrid Larsen Evans Hall at CMS.
